Vadodara: The Income Tax Department is conducting searches at premises linked to Yatin Gupte, CMD, and founder of Wardwizard Innovations & Mobility Limited today.

The IT department, along with local police, is conducting searches at Gupte’s residence, the e-bike production unit in Makarpura GIDC, and the hospital linked with Gupte in the Vadsar and Harinagar area of the city. It is noteworthy that Gupte is one of the richest businessmen in Vadodara.

It is learned that the Income Tax Department had received a tip-off about tax evasion, and several teams of the IT department are conducting searches at multiple locations in the city. DeshGujarat
