Surendranagar gets new bridge

Surendranagar: A newly built bridge connecting the district Panchayat office to the new circuit house in Ratanpar area was inaugurated today. Deputy Chief Whip of the Gujarat Legislative Assembly and BJP MLA from Wadhvan, Jagdish Makwana, inaugurated the bridge.
The overbridge, built at the cost of Rs. 5 crore, has been constructed to substitute the earlier causeway. The bridge will facilitate the movement of people coming from Muli, Sayla, and Chotila talukas in the district. Additionally, it will bring relief to the residents during the monsoon season, as the earlier causeway used to remain closed during this period.
It is also learned that one more bridge is expected to be constructed here at an estimated cost of Rs. 28 crore. DeshGujarat
