Gujarat govt transfers two IAS officers to Chief Electoral Officer’s office

Gandhinagar: The Gujarat government has transferred two IAS officers to the Election Commission. Dr. Kuldeep Arya (2009 batch), Additional Industries Commissioner is transferred as Additional Chief Electoral Officer in the office of the Chief Electoral Officer, Gujarat. 2012 batch IAS PD Palsana, Joint Secretary of Agriculture, Farmers Welfare and Cooperation department is transferred as Joint Chief Electoral Officer in Chief Electoral Officer’s office in Gandhinagar. Chief Electoral Officer (CEO)’s office works for the Election Commission of India (ECI) in Gujarat. The office is responsible for arranging and executing the State assembly and parliament elections.
