Gandhinagar: Over 15.38 lakh students have registered for class 10 and class 12 board exams this year.  The exams shall be conducted by the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board from 11 to 26 March. Last year over 16.49 lakh students registered for these exams. The reason behind the yearly slide in numbers is the mass promotion given due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This year over 9.17 lakh students have registered for the class-10 board exam over 1.31 for the class 12 Science stream and over 4.89 lakh for the general stream.
