Jamnagar: The district headquarters Jamnagar will soon see construction of a Sports complex. Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel will perform Bhumi Pujan for this facility. It will be constructed in 5.27 square ft land of Old Brooke Bond. It will cover indoor and outdoor, both types of games including a 400 meter running track. The facility will come up at a cost of over Rs. 20 crore. Proposed sports complex will have provision of indoor hall building, 400 m B lane athletic track with football ground, volleyball courts, kho-kho, kabaddi, lawn tennis, basket ball court, toilet block, parking, entry gate and security.
