Gandhinagar: More than 1.93 lakh visitors visited Gir sanctuary in last one year. Out of these total 1,93,415 tourists, 1,86,918 were Indian citizens while 6,497 were from abroad. The State government earned Rs. 4,92,00,350 (Rs. 4.92 crore) revenue. Tourists need to do online booking on www.girlion.gujarat.gov.in. Refund is made on cancellation of booking. If cancelled 10 days before visit, 75% refund is given, 5-days 50%, if cancelled before 2 days, 25% sum is refunded.
