Ahmedabad: Among 15 candidates of Gujarat declared by ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for upcoming Lok Sabha polls, Dinesh Makwana is one of new names. Dineshbhai Kodarbhai Makwana is picked up by party for candidature on Ahmedabad (West) seat which is reserved for Schedule Caste candidates. Dinesbhai is from Naroda area of city. He is 54 years old and belongs to Vankar community. He is BA, LLB by education and Advocate by profession. Makwana is associated with BJP for last 37 years. He is presently the city spokesperson of BJP for Karnavati city unit. He had been Deputy Mayor and Chairman of Legal Committee in the Amdavad Municipal Corporation (AMC) in the past. The Ahmedabad West seat is presently occupied by BJP ML Dr. Kirit Solanki. DeshGujarat
