Suzlon to supply 23 wind turbine generators for 72.45 MW power project in Dwarka

New Delhi: Suzlon Group today announced getting a new contract for a 72.45 MW wind power initiative from Juniper Green Energy Private Limited, aimed at augmenting renewable energy capacity in Gujarat.
The project entails installing 23 wind turbine generators (WTGs), each boasting a 3.15 MW capacity, in the Dwarka district, utilizing Suzlon’s S144-140m turbines from its 3 MW series. This order covers equipment supply, along with erection and commissioning services, and subsequent comprehensive operations and maintenance.
Suzlon’s utilization of Doubly Fed Induction Generator (DFIG) technology in its turbines is anticipated to enhance the integration of wind energy into the national grid, optimizing performance and reducing energy costs. DeshGujarat
