Ahmedabad: The Amdavad Municipal Corporation (AMC) has granted approval for the construction of a flyover at Panjrapol junction in the Ambawadi area. It is learned that the long-awaited work order will soon be issued to the selected company assigned to the project.

The standing committee gave the green light to the proposal for constructing the flyover at a cost of Rs 78.61 crore on Thursday, which is 29% higher than the estimated cost of Rs 62 crore. The project will be funded using a state government grant of Rs 185 crore allocated for this endeavor and another flyover at Panchvati junction.
