Jaipur-Bandra Express gets stoppage at Navsari

Navsari: Fulfilling a longstanding demand of the Rajasthani families living in the city, the Jaipur-Bandra Express Train has been granted a stoppage at Navsari Railway Station starting today. Members of the Railway Advisory Committee, the Diamond Association, and former PAC member Chhotu Patil were present at platform number two to welcome the train.

Navsari district has been home to people from different states for many years, who require a train to travel to their hometowns. Currently, they have to travel to Surat or Valsad to catch a train, which is both expensive and time-consuming. There has long been a demand for long-distance trains to stop at Navsari railway station, including the Jaipur-Bandra train. Over the years, written and oral presentations have been made to the Western Railway Manager and Division Manager regarding this issue, and today, the railways granted the train stoppage at Navsari Railway Station.

It is noteworthy that the Jaipur Bandra Express is a tri-weekly train running on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday only. The train arrives at Navsari station at 9:27 am on day 2 of the journey, and after a 2-minute halt, it departs at 9:29 am.

The Diamond Association expressed gratitude to the Railway Advisory Committee members, DRUCC, and ZRUCC. Jagmal Desai, associated with the Diamond Association, emphasized that this train will facilitate traders, especially Rajasthani families involved in the diamond trade. With Jaipur being a major market, a direct train from Navsari to Jaipur will greatly benefit traders. DeshGujarat
