Digi Yatra under upgrades; Passengers asked to check in manually at Ahmedabad Airport

Ahmedabad: Digi Yatra has made an important announcement for air travelers regarding the upgrade of its backend system, which may result in outages of Digi Yatra services from March 26th to March 31st. As a result, passengers have been requested by the authorities to prepare for manual check-in during this period.

Digi Yatra has been operational at Terminal 1 of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International (SVPI) Airport. With over 100 domestic flights departing from Ahmedabad airport daily and 13-14 percent of passengers checking in using the Digi Yatra App, passengers will have to adhere to the normal check-in process until March 31st.

Taking to the social media platform X (formerly Twitter), Digi Yatra Foundation tweeted, “Dear Digi Yatris, we are upgrading our backend systems in the next few days, and you might face intermittent outages in Digi Yatra services from March 26 until March 31, 2024. Please be prepared to use the normal manual processes at the airport. We are working towards enhancing the robustness of your Digi Yatra Central Ecosystem and the Digi Yatra Apps. We thank you for your continued support and understanding.” DeshGujarat
