ACB Gujarat nabs peon working in court for taking Rs. 8,000 bribe promising favorable judgment

Surat: Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) Gujarat has nabbed a contractual peon of Olpad Court in South Gujarat in bribe case. According to ACB, a complainant is facing negotiable instrument case in Olpad civil court. A peon who works as a contractual employee in the court, demanded Rs. 8,000 bribe for managing favorable judgement in the case. As a complainant was not willing to pay bribe, he contacted ACB, following which a trap was arranged and accused peon Pratik Kanthariya was held next to Vardhaman Electronics shop in Olpad after he received Rs. 8,000 bribe sum from a complainant.
