IMD predicts light rain in parts of Gujarat this week

Ahmedabad: The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), in its latest weather forecast bulletin, has predicted the possibility of light rain in a few districts on April 13th, 14th, and 15th. Additionally, discomfort conditions due to hot and humid air are very likely to prevail over the coastal areas of Saurashtra-Kutch during the next 5 days.

The bulletin also warns of heatwave conditions that are very likely to prevail at isolated pockets in the Kutch district from April 9th to 11th.

According to the IMD bulletin, light rain is very likely at isolated places in the districts of the Gujarat region, Surat, Navsari, and Valsad; in the district of Saurashtra namely Gir Somnath on April 13th.

On April 14th, light rain is very likely at isolated places in the districts of the Gujarat region namely Dahod, Narmada, and Chhota Udepur; in the district of Saurashtra namely Gir Somnath.

On April 15th, light rain is very likely at isolated places in the districts of Gujarat region namely Dahod, Narmada, and Chhota Udepur; in the district of Saurashtra namely Gir Somnath.

The bulletin also stated that the maximum temperature is likely to reach 41 degrees Celsius in Ahmedabad and neighboring areas. DeshGujarat
