International Gujarati Film Festival to be held in Sydney from June 28-30

Ahmedabad: The fifth edition of the International Gujarati Film Festival (IGFF) will be hosted in Australia this year. The IGFF will take place at the Opera House in Sydney from June 28 to 30.
The festival aims to elevate Gujarati cinema on a global platform, promising three days of art, culture, and entertainment, as stated by Festival director Umesh Shukla.
Previously held in New Jersey (2018) and Los Angeles (2019), the festival returned to Atlanta in 2022 and Chicago in 2023, attracting over 5,000 attendees annually.
This year, guests at the festival include actors Boman Irani and Deven Bhojani, while Gujarati stars Malhar Thakar and Yash Soni will grace the opening ceremony. Alongside Acharya, Shukla, and Desai, film director Storm Ashwood serves as another jury member. DeshGujarat
