Unseasonal rain in Bharuch; heat wave warning in Saurashtra

Bharuch: Even though the forecast predicted rain until 8:30 in the morning, unseasonal rain occurred at isolated places in Bharuch district this afternoon. After a sudden change in atmosphere, parts of the city witnessed rain, providing relief to the public from the scorching heat.

On the other hand, the Indian Meteorological Department, in its latest bulletin, has issued a heat wave warning for parts of Gujarat. According to today’s bulletin, “Heat wave conditions are very likely to prevail at isolated pockets in the districts of Saurashtra, namely Porbandar, Junagadh, and Gir Somnath,” on April 16th and 17th.

In Ahmedabad, the maximum temperature is very likely to be 41°C. – DeshGujarat
