Mistake was mine, so why direct anger towards PM Modi: Rupala appeals to Kshtriyas
April 27, 2024
Jasdan: In the face of mounting protests from the Kshatriya community, Union Minister Parshottam Rupala once again admitted to making a mistake and appealed to Kshatriya leaders not to direct their anger towards PM Modi. He also highlighted the significant contributions made by the community to society and the advancement of the BJP.
“I have to say this to Kshatriya leaders of all states, a mistake was made by me, and I apologized for that in public because it was not intentional. I also apologized in front of the community, but why should this be turned against Modi saheb? Just remember your contribution to the nation’s development; your role in the growth of the party is also immense,” Rupala said at the inauguration function of BJP office in BJP.
“I am willing to acknowledge my mistake. I have done so in the past as well. However, I believe it is unfair to pit the Kshatriya community against Modi saheb because of me. Narendra Modi is not only the leader of our country but also a global leader. I urge the Kshatriya community to reconsider their grievances directed towards Modi saheb,” Rupala stated.
Furthermore, Rupala stressed that the current issue touches upon the social fabric of society and implored Kshatriyas not to politicize it. “I urge all leaders here to strive to build a new bridge of understanding with community leaders. This appeal is not driven by elections. It’s not about winning or losing. This issue is deeply intertwined with our social fabric. I urge the Kshatriya community to keep it apolitical,” Rupala emphasized.
This plea follows two days after Kshatriyas resumed their protests and called for defeating the BJP in the ongoing Lok Sabha elections. DeshGujarat
