More curves straightened to increase the speed of trains

Godhra: Under its Mission Raftar to elevate the speed of trains upto 160 km/h, Western Railways has straightened yet another curve on Godhra – Nagda section. In this section, so far four curves are realigned and straightened. With this, the speed of trains will go up to 130 km/h from existing 80-95 km/h. Apart from track realignment, the Railways has done bridge maintanance, track side fencing, GE(permanent speed restriction), signal to change the sleepers and electric works.
