IMD predicts unseasonal rain in parts of Gujarat from May 11-13

Gandhinagar: Unseasonal rainfall is likely to occur in parts of Gujarat as a cyclonic circulation lies over the northeast Arabian Sea and adjoining Gujarat coast between 1.5 km and 5.8 km above mean sea level. The Indian Meteorological Department, in its latest forecast, predicts the possibility of rain during May 11th to May 13th.

According to the IMD Bulletin, light rain is very likely at isolated places in Dang district of South Gujarat region on May 11th.

On May 12th, light rain is very likely at isolated places in the districts of South Gujarat region, namely Chhota Udepur, Narmada, Tapi, Navsari, Valsad, and Dang.

And on May 13th, light rain is very likely at isolated places in the districts of South Gujarat region, namely Chhota Udepur, Narmada, Tapi, Navsari, Valsad, and Dang.

While the rain is likely to occur three days later, the state is going to witness scorching hot and humid conditions. The IMD has also issued a heatwave warning for the next two days for Kutch district. DeshGujarat
