Rajkot: TRP game zone in Rajkot that had no fire safety certificate was a single roof structure with ground and first floor. The entire structure with tin shade and tin walls was full of sensitive material that could got destroyed easily in case of slightest of fire, however there was no fire sprinkler system in place.

The structure had indoor Go-kart zone with 100s of tyres. The Laser Wars zone, infinite mirror, Mirror maze, Magic tunnel etc were the attractions that could leave no chance of survival for anyone inside in case of fire. Bowling alley on the first floor was also dark in same way and extremely dangerous place to be at in case of fire. The Space Jump, Air Bag, Spider tower, freestyle jump, wall climb, zorbing, sleepy slide, paint ball, battle etc areas were full of plastic and rubber material end to end at every inch. Though such a fire-friendly material was used extensively, there was no sprinkling system, no fire NOC and there was only one gate for exit which was completely blocked by fire and smoke.

24 persons including children are dead in the incident of fire today at TRP game zone. A vlogger who had captured the inside visuals of TRP mall a few months ago. The video of same is presented below. See it to believe it that such a fire hazardous material was housed in this game zone without any fire safety provisions. 

An eye witness survivor Pruthvirajsinh Zala, a teenager from Gondal town near Rajkot told media persons that he was on the first floor when he was told by game zone’s staffers that fire had erupted and everyone should vacate the place. Zala said welding work was going on in the ground floor and a blast in gas bottle(cylinder) caused fire which took control of entire game-zone structure in just 10 minutes. Zala said he and his other friend kicked the tin wall and broke it in order to escape the place along with around 10 persons, mostly children. Zala said two of his friends from Gondal remained inside and were missing now. Zala said there was only one entry gate for exit as well, but it was blocked by massive smoke. DeshGujarat
