ACB Gujarat nabs an Advocate in bribery case

Surendranagar: The Anti-Corruption Bureau of Gujarat today nabbed an advocate in Surendranagar in a bribery case involving a sum of Rs. 7,000.
The complainant of this case had applied to get a plot in his name in a government housing scheme as per the government norms. However, the accused advocate, Kishankumar Solanki, Reg. No. G8432007, demanded Rs. 14,000 as a bribe, which was later reduced to Rs. 7,000 after negotiation.
The complainant did not want to pay, so he contacted the ACB and filed a complaint. On the basis of the complaint, ACB set up a trap and caught the accused red-handed while accepting the bribe from the complainant. DeshGujarat
