Pandya Bridge in Vadodara closed for traffic for ten days

Vadodara: Pandya Bridge in Vadodara will remain closed to traffic for ten days starting today due to girder launching work for the Mumbai – Ahmedabad High-Speed Railway (bullet train) project.
The city traffic police have announced alternative routes for the smooth movement of traffic in the absence of access to Pandya Bridge.
According to the city police, the bridge will remain shut to traffic from June 20 to June 30 due to girder launching work by L&T.
Vehicles will not be able to move from Akshar Chowk Circle, Manisha Char Rasta, Chakli Circle, and Atal Bridge to Fatehganj Bridge via Pandya Bridge.
The police have made alternative arrangements on Akota Bridge, Jail Road, Kalaghoda, Narhari Circle, Jetalpur Bridge, Bhimnath Naka, Gorwa Road, Gorwa, Madhunagar Bridge, Fulvadi Bari, and other areas. DeshGujarat
