A case under the Prohibition Act was registered against the complainant in this case. While pursuing the case, the accused, A.S.I. Ghanshyamsinh Sengar and Head Constable Hiteshbhai Jivabhai Chauhan, both working in LCB Anand, went to the house of the accused and demanded Rs. 4 lakh as a bribe. After negotiation, the complainant was asked to pay Rs. 70,000.
