Air India Express flight grounded at Surat Airport after wing damage during boarding

Surat: An Air India Express flight from Delhi to Bengaluru via Surat was grounded after its left wing was damaged by a ladder. The incident occurred around 8:30 PM yesterday at Surat Airport when the ladder was being taken to attach to the flight to board the passengers.
According to airport sources, the Air India Express flight from Delhi arrived at the airport and was about to board passengers from Surat. A ladder was being moved towards the aircraft when it accidentally struck the left wing of the plane. This collision caused damage to the wing. The onboard passengers were alarmed and concerned. Airport officials and Air India Express management rushed to the scene.
The flight was carrying 46 passengers from Delhi to Bengaluru and an additional 122 passengers were about to board from Surat. The accident led to inconvenience for all passengers involved.
