Rainfall in 164 talukas of Gujarat today; Dhrol tops the chart

Jamnagar: The monsoon is active over the state of Gujarat with heavy rainfall forecasted in several areas. Since this morning, 164 talukas across the state have recorded rainfall.
According to data from the State Emergency Operation Center in Gandhinagar, rainfall has been recorded in 164 talukas from 6 am to 6 pm. Dhrol in Jamnagar received over two inches of rain in just two hours from 2 to 4 pm, making it the only taluka to receive over 2 inches of rain.
Thirteen talukas received between one and two inches of rain during the same period. These talukas include Visavadar, Tankara, Anand, Rajkot, Kotda Sangani, Umbergaon, Gondal, Wankaner, Chotila, Maliya Hatina, Petlad, Botad, and Lodhika.
Today, the top five districts in terms of rainfall are Jamnagar, Junagadh, Morbi, Anand, and Rajkot. DeshGujarat
