GSRTC launches Vadodara – Shrinathji Nathdwara AC Volvo daily ST bus service

Vadodara: The city of Vadodara has got a direct connectivity to pilgrim town Nathdwara Shrinathji in Rajasthan with launching of an Air Conditioned (AC) Volvo luxury bus service by the Gujarat government arm Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation(GSRTC). The service is announced to commence from Monday by the Minister of State for Transport Harsh Sanghavi.

The ticket charge per seat as per the GSRTC officials shall be Rs. 927/seat in this bus which would leave Central ST depot at 5.30 am daily and reach Nathdwara ahead of Utthapan darshan and Bhog aarti timings in the late afternoon. The bus will have stoppages en route at  Ahmedabad, Himmatnagar, Shamlaji, Kherwada and Udaipur. The bus will leave Nathdwara at 5.30 pm and arrive back at Vadodara at 12 midnight.

Online booking for journey in this 42 sitter bus is yet not started on GSRTC website(as on noon on Sunday). On Friday, Minister of State for Transport, Harsh Sanghavi inaugruated Raj Palace stay facility and Sarvottam banquet hall at Manjalpur based Vrajdham Adhyatmik Sankul, developed by Vallabh Foundation Trust. He had made the announcement to launch the daily AC bus service connecting Vadodara to Shrinathji on this occasion.

Vadodara has presently another bus service to Nathdwara which starts journey from the Central Bus depot at 6 am and after 10 hours of journey it reached Nathdwara at 4 pm just ahead of the Bhog aarti. The ticket rate in this bus is Rs. 374. The other bus to reach Nathdwara from Vadodara leaves Central bus station at 7 pm daily. It originates from Surat and halts at Vadodara to take passengers.
