Ahmedabad: Former Minister of State for Home, Rajni Patel, has been appointed as the new coordinator for Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) affairs. Patel who is the General Secretary of the ruling Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) will work closely with the elected members of the civic body.

This appointment comes in the wake of Dharmendra Shah’s recent removal from his roles as Joint Treasurer of Gujarat BJP and Joint In-Charge of the Ahmedabad city party organization.
