Gujarat CM visits Anchorwala Ahimsa Dham Mundra’s environment and jivdaya projects in Kutch

Bhuj: Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel today visited Bhagwan Mahavir Pashu Raksha Kendra Anchorwala Ahinsa Dham Mundra’s 600 acre Anchorwala Nandi Sarovar, 225 acre Nandandvan(which has 5 lakh trees), forest sanctuary etc projects and hailed the works done for environment and jivdaya here.

The Chief Minister worshipped the fresh rain water in Nandi Sarovar which is one of three water bodies developed in 600 acres of land here. He also visited a 225 acre nandanvan where each year 50,000 trees are planted. At present around 2.50 lakh trees have grown up here.

The Chief Minister also visited a 200 acre nursery where nutritious fodder is grown for cattle, and also Ayurvedic and country plants are planted. Nandi Sarovar seeds bank here has availibility of 170 types of seeds.

A 21 lakh litre water tank is used here to satisfy the need of water in 350 acre land. Gaushala here takes care of over 3,000 cattle including handicapped and blind animals. Their medical care facility is also set up here.

Govardhan parvat, Tapovandham, Kaliash Upvan, Gokuldham, Vatsalyadham, Vrundavandham(free roaming land for cattle in sanctuary style) etc initiatives were visited and admired by the Chief Minister.
