Assistant TDO of AMC, accomplice sent on 3 days remand in bribe case

Ahmedabad: A day after the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) of Gujarat Police nabbed the Assistant Town Development Officer (ATDO) of Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation in a bribery case, the session court has sent the accused class 2 officer to three days of remand.
The accused ATDO, Harshad Bhojak, who has also been suspended by the AMC, and his accomplice, Ashish Patel, were caught by the ACB on Thursday while accepting a bribe of Rs. 20 lakh. Following their arrest on Friday, the accused were produced before the court, where the law enforcement agency requested a five-day remand. However, the session court remanded the accused to three days of police custody until August 5 at 11 a.m. DeshGujarat
