50 packets of drugs worth Rs. 30 crores recovered near Onjal Beach in Navsari

Navsari: Navsari Police on late Wednesday evening seized around 50 packets of narcotics near the beach of Onjal village in Jalalpore taluka. The narcotics weighed over 60 kg and are valued at over ₹30 crores.
Speaking to the media about the operation, Sunil Agarwal, SP, Navsari, said, “On August 14th, the Navsari Police had a significant success in their campaign against drugs. During patrolling, the LCB (Local Crime Branch), SOG (Special Operation Group), and local police teams recovered narcotics from the coastal areas of Navsari.”
“From five different locations around 5 km north of Onjal Beach, the police teams found a total of 50 drug packets. Primary testing reveals the drugs to be hashish, weighing over 60 kg in total, with a value of over ₹30 crore 7 lakhs. The drugs were found packed in 5-layer packaging, and further investigation is underway,” he added.
The recovered drugs have been sent for FSL (Forensic Science Laboratory) testing. DeshGujarat
