Pathan, the mastermind of thefts at bullet train project’s construction sites arrested in Vadodara

Vadodara: Ahmed Gulam Muhammad Pathan(61) is identified and arrested as a mastermind behind frequent theft of items pertaining to the Ahmedabad – Mumbai high-speed rail project (bullet train project).
Pathan is resident of Garib Nawaz park near Navayard D cabin in Vadodara. He is a scrap trader. He is arrested by the city police crime branch for hiding Rs. 7.19 lakh items stolen from Chhani camp of bullet train project.
As per the Police investigation which is ongoing, Pathan would mastemind the thefts of items to be used in the bullet train project from acrosss various construction camps of the project. He would then hide the stolen items in his godown. Pathan has criminal history with 18 offences against him in Anand and Vadodara city and district. DeshGujarat
