Surat Civil Hospital gets Allergy Testing and Immunotherapy Clinic

Surat: Union Minister C.R. Patil today visited New Civil Hospital in the city and inaugurated the Allergy Testing and Immunotherapy Clinic there. Various allergies will be diagnosed at this clinic, and immunotherapy treatment will also be provided to allergy patients.
After inaugurating the Allergy Testing and Immunotherapy Clinic, C.R. Patil stated that many operations are performed free of cost at Surat Civil Hospital, which has earned the trust of the people. The cost of allergy diagnosis is very high in private hospitals, ranging from one and a half to two lakh rupees. However, once this clinic is operational, the people of South Gujarat will receive free treatment for their allergies here, Patil stated.
C.R. Patil further mentioned that just yesterday, a successful operation for a child that costs Rs 5 lakh in a private hospital was performed free of cost here at the civil hospital. The Union Minister also urged those suffering from allergies to come to the civil hospital so they can avoid huge expenses and receive free treatment without spending a single rupee.
The clinic will diagnose various allergies, including those caused by dust mites, living insects, animals, birds, pollen, fungi, and food. Immunotherapy treatment will also be provided to patients with various allergies. Additionally, all resident doctors and nursing staff will be continuously present in the clinic. DeshGujarat
