Gujarat CM to dedicate Rs. 633 crore water supply project on Sept 27 in North Gujarat

Gandhinagar: Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel will, on 27 September, dedicate Rs. 633 crore worth of water supply projects benefiting Deesa, Lakhni, Kankrej, and Deodar talukas’ 192 villages and Thara town, providing a daily supply of 6.40 crore liters of drinking water. The project was initiated in 2020 for the Devpura-Vav offtake and Ranakpur offtake improvement. It has been completed in five phases. The project will benefit 80 villages in Kankrej taluka, 23 villages in Deodar taluka, and 1 village in Lakhni taluka.
