Surat man gets death threat from brother of accused who looted and attacked him

Surat: A young man residing in Dabholi and working in the stock market was attacked and looted on October 21. Following the incident, he filed a case at Rander Police Station against two individuals identified as Karan Khash and Bilal Uthamana.

However, on December 12, the victim, 29-year-old Himaykumar Nareshbhai Anaghane of Krishna Park Society, Dabholi, received a death threat over the phone from Akram Rafikbhai Dudani, the brother of one of the accused, Bilal. After this, Himaykumar filed another complaint against Akram at Singanpore Police Station.

According to the complaint, Himaykumar, who works at a stock market office in Mota Varachha, received a call late at night on December 12 from an unknown number. The caller reportedly said, “I am Bilal’s brother. If something happens to him, I will shoot you and kill you.”

Further investigation revealed that Akram is Bilal’s brother, who had previously coerced Himaykumar into transferring 20,339 USDT (approximately ₹18 lakh) in October. Bilal fled without delivering the promised cash in return for the transfer. The incident also involved physical assault and further death threats.

The police have registered a case against Akram and the other accused and are conducting further investigations. DeshGujarat
