Dhoraji:A mass wedding function involving 511 brides was held at Jamkandorna on a 125 bigha plot with the help of 10,000 volunteers. As many as 1.75 lakh people were offered a meal at this function. Each daughter was given 120 items in kariyavar. The wedding procession featured vintage cars and horses with bands. The mass wedding function on such a large scale was organized in memory of late BJP leader Vitthalbhai Radadiya by his MLA son Jayesh Radadiya. Each bride was given a gift of the Bhagavad Gita or a book. Free diabetes and blood pressure checking services were provided for all by local hospitals. The donors from the Leuva Patel community.
