Kheda police pick up 2 for dancing with Lawrence Bishnoi poster
February 18, 2025
Kheda: The district police detained two men outside a vote counting centre after they were seen dancing with posters of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi. Authorities said the action was taken as a preventive measure to avoid any potential law and order issues.
Superintendent of Police (SP) Rajesh Gadhiya stated that one of the men is a crane operator, while the other runs a pan shop. However, investigations revealed that neither had any connection with Bishnoi, with one of them merely being a “fanboy.”
Police personnel, while the vote counting was underway, saw two men dancing with Bishnoi’s posters. They were taken into custody and brought to the nearest police station, but after an investigation, the police found that the matter was not serious. DeshGujarat
