Ahmedabad: The Amdavad Municipal Corporation (AMC) prepares a heat action plan each year before summer. This year, to mitigate the heat, the AMC-run Ahmedabad Municipal Transport Service (AMTS) has issued a tender to apply white paint on bus roofs during the summer.

The tender also includes installing green nets, air coolers, and fans at city bus terminals, with submissions open until March 4.
