Ahmedabad records 739 hit-and-run cases, 345 deaths in 2 years: Govt

Gandhinagar: In a two-year period during the entire 2023 and 2024, Ahmedabad city reported 344 incidents of hit-and-run accidents in which 117 persons died. The count in the same period for Ahmedabad rural was 395 hit-and-run cases and 228 deaths. These details were shared by the Minister of State for Home in the state assembly in reply to a question asked by the Patan Congress MLA. DeshGujarat
