Gandhinagar: Ongoing reconstruction of the old RTO building in Ahmedabad has achieved over 80 percent progress as of 1st January this year. The balanced 20 percent work is in progress. The estimated cost of the entire project is Rs. 54 crore as per the state government. The Minister of State for Home, in his reply to a question by Congress MLA in the State Assembly, shared these details. He added that the government has spent over Rs. 2.98 crore for rent of an alternative private building for RTO while the reconstruction of the old RTO office building is underway.  DeshGujarat
