Gandhinagar: Gujarat Police collected over Rs. 5.22 crore on account of the cricket matches played at the Narendra Modi stadium at Motera in Ahmedabad in 2023 and 2024. This detail was shared by the State government in reply to a question asked by Chanasma MLA of the Congress party in the state assembly. Police received this amount for providing bandobast and security at the stadium. The Minister of State for Home in his reply further said that the sum of over Rs. 9.94 crore is yet to be collected, and the process is in progress.  DeshGujarat
