Gandhinagar: The ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has announced the presidents for most districts and cities in Gujarat, appointing 26 district presidents and six city presidents. Anil Patel has been appointed as the Gandhinagar district BJP president, Chandubhai Makwana for Junagadh district, Atul Kanani for Amreli, Kirtisinh Vaghela for Banaskantha, and Bharatbhai Rathod for Surat.

In the list of city and district presidents released by the BJP, the names of some city presidents and one district president have not yet been announced. The appointments for chief of Vadodara district, as well as Gandhinagar city, Ahmedabad city, Porbandar city, and Panchmahal city, are still pending.
