Rahul Gandhi to hold meetings with city, taluka, district party chiefs during Gujarat visit

Gandhinagar: Providing details about the two-day Gujarat tour of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, Deputy Leader of the Legislative Assembly Congress Party, Shailesh Parmar, stated that on March 7 and 8, Rahul Gandhi, the Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha, will visit Gujarat. With more than two and a half years left until the next Assembly elections, Gandhi will guide Congress workers in preparation for the 2027 election campaign. He will directly engage with grassroots workers and leaders of the Gujarat Congress.
According to an official release, on March 7, at 10:00 AM at Rajiv Gandhi Bhavan, Rahul Gandhi will meet former state presidents, former opposition leaders, and senior leaders. At 10:30 AM, he will hold a meeting with the Political Affairs Committee and interact with the chairpersons of various frontal and cell departments. At 2:00 PM, he will meet all district and city presidents of Gujarat to provide guidance on organizational matters and Congress activities. At 3:00 PM, he will hold an important discussion with all taluka and municipality presidents. Between 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM, he will interact with invitees from social organizations. These meetings with Gujarat Congress workers and leaders will continue throughout the day.
On March 8, he will engage with Congress workers at ZA Hall near Rajpath Club. During this session, Rahul Gandhi will discuss strategies to highlight the failures of the state government, upcoming programs for public awareness and outreach, and existing issues faced by citizens.
