Taxi drivers booked for attacking Ahmedabad Airport personnel

Ahmedabad: A group of taxi drivers allegedly attacked and assaulted two security personnel of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport near Hanuman Camp on Thursday night. As per the complaint, the incident occurred when Kamlesh Christi, a security officer at Ahmedabad Airport GDX Security, and his supervisor, Praganesh Dantani, were heading to Meghaninagar on a bike after work.
While passing Hanuman Camp, they were allegedly attacked by taxi drivers Raju Rabari, Sagar Rabari, Anand Rabari, and an unidentified individual. It is learned that the accused had a prior dispute with the victims over passenger pickups at the airport. Shahibaug Police booked the accused drivers under sections 115(2), 296(b), 324(2), and 54 of the BNS, along with section 135(1) of the Gujarat Police Act. However, no arrests have been made yet.
