Veteran Congress leader and former union minister Dinsha Patel praises PM Narendra Modi

Nadiad: Former union minister Dinsha Patel who represented Kheda Lok Sabha constituency in Lok Sabha for number of time today admired Prime Minister Narendra Modi for building the Statue of Unity.
Patel who hails from Nadiad, the birth place of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel is a veteran Congress leader. So far the main opposition Congress party in Gujarat has maintained distance from Sardar Patel’s tellest statue – the statue of unity, as it is conceived and constructed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. However the veteran Congress leader Dinsha Patel today admired the initiative.
When asked about PM Modi’s efforts and initiative in building the Statue of Unity, Congress leader and former Union Minister Dinsha Patel told a private news agency, “We respect, we appreciate, and we bow down to his feet for building the Statue of Unity… He is my friend, it’s not that he isn’t. He maintains a good relationship with me, speaks well, and addresses me with respect”

Patel further said – “We acknowledge whatever good Modi Saheb has done, and what is good should be accepted as good.”
Dinsha Patel who had been the minister in the State as well in the past is electorally inactive for last few years and has almost taken retirement from active politics. He is heading Sardar Patel’s memorial located in Shahibaug area of Ahmedabad city. DeshGujarat
