Three Western Railway trains to run on diverted routes due to block in Ahmedabad-Palanpur rail section

Ahmedabad: Western Railway’s Ahmedabad division has announced the diversion of three trains due to engineering work related to the reconstruction of Bridge No. 880 between Palanpur and Umardashi stations on the Ahmedabad-Palanpur rail section. A block has been scheduled on March 18, 2025, for this work. The details of the affected trains are as follows:

Train No. 19031 Sabarmati–Yoganagari Rishikesh Yoga Express, departing from Sabarmati on March 18, 2025, will run via the Mehsana–Patan–Bhildi–Palanpur route instead of its usual Mehsana–Unjha–Siddhpur–Palanpur route. The train will not halt at Unjha and Siddhpur stations.

Train No. 19223 Gandhinagar Capital–Jammu Tawi Express, departing from Gandhinagar Capital on March 18, 2025, will also run via the Mehsana–Patan–Bhildi–Palanpur route instead of the Mehsana–Unjha–Siddhpur–Palanpur route. The train will not halt at Unjha and Siddhpur stations.

Train No. 19412 Daulatpur Chowk–Sabarmati Express, departing from Daulatpur Chowk on March 17, 2025, will run via the Palanpur–Bhildi–Patan–Mehsana route instead of its usual Palanpur–Unjha–Siddhpur–Mehsana route. The train will not halt at Unjha and Siddhpur stations.
