3 land requests by Adani Group in Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar: Govt replies Congress query in Assembly

Gandhinagar: The Gujarat Chief Minister, who also holds the Revenue portfolio, stated today in response to a question in the state assembly that three land acquisition requests by the Adani Group in Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar are pending before the government.
As per the Chief Minister’s reply to Congress party’s query, three such requests are awaiting approval—one in Ahmedabad and two in Gandhinagar. The reply was circulated by the State Congress to media persons.
The response elaborated that in exchange for 33,286 sq.m. of land from Survey No. 292 of Moje Khodiyar, Taluka Daskroi, a request is pending for 18,718 sq.m. of land from Survey No. 329 (Gauchar Sadar) and 11,129 sq.m. from Survey No. 361, totaling 29,847 sq.m.
Similarly, in Dantali, Taluka Gandhinagar, a request is pending to exchange 63,132 sq.m. of Gauchar Sadar land from Survey Nos. 217, 218, 219, 222, 468, and 512 with 61,211 sq.m. of privately owned land from Survey Nos. 174, 177, 186, 228, 171, and 175.
Additionally, a request for acquiring 202 sq.m. of land, comprising 101 sq.m. from Survey/Block No. 308 and 101 sq.m. from Survey/Block No. 309 of Jaspur, Taluka Kalol, remains pending.
The land acquisition request in Ahmedabad is intended for the development of a Special Economic Zone (SEZ) as part of a modern township, while the Gandhinagar projects are aimed at general township development. DeshGujarat
