3 Gujarat Police personnel killed in Haryana road accident; 1 critically injured

Sirsa: Three Gujarat Police personnel lost their lives, and one sustained critical injuries in a road accident in Haryana’s Sirsa district this morning. The incident occurred on Bharat Mala Road in Dabwali when their Bolero (GJ 18 JB 7819) crashed into a parked trolley on the Dabwali-Chautala Road.
Upon receiving the information, the NHAI team and police rushed to the scene. The deceased and injured are reportedly from Ahmedabad City Police. The three deceased have been identified as Police Constable Sunil Gamit, Home Guard Ravindrasinh Shatriya, and driver Ghanshyam Bharwad, while PSI Jayendrasinh Solanki has been critically injured. Dabwali Police promptly informed Gujarat Police and initiated an investigation to determine the exact cause of the accident.
It has come to light that the police team was en route to Ludhiana to investigate a POCSO case when their vehicle met with an accident near Wedding Kheda in Dabwali.
Following the incident, ACP I Division and a PSI from Gujarat Police rushed to Haryana. According to local police station in-charge Brahma Prakash, a Punjab-registered number plate was found at the accident site, and efforts are underway to trace the unidentified vehicle. DeshGujarat
