Stray Cattle Claim Another Life: 32-Year-Old Woman Dies in Accident

Vadodara: Stray cattle continue to pose a deadly threat in Vadodara city and its surrounding areas, claiming the life of a 32-year-old woman on Monday night. The incident occurred on Undera-Koyli Road. The woman, a mother of two, was on her way to work on a moped when she collided with a cow near Undera Lake. She sustained severe injuries and was rushed to the hospital for treatment, but tragically succumbed to her injuries during treatment, leaving her family in deep mourning.

The deceased was identified as Surekhaben Ganpatbhai Solanki, 32, a resident of Koyli, Javerpura, opposite Bharat Petrol Pump. On Monday morning around 8 AM, she was heading to her workplace in Gotri on her Activa scooter. While passing near Undera Lake, a cow suddenly appeared in the middle of the road, causing her to fall off her scooter. She suffered serious head and facial injuries and was immediately taken to Sayaji Hospital.

Upon receiving the news, her family rushed to the hospital. Surekhaben was given initial treatment at Sayaji Hospital and then transferred to a private hospital for further care, but she tragically passed away during treatment. Her husband, Ganpatbhai, works as a driver. The couple had a four-year-old daughter and a six-year-old son. The incident has cast a pall of gloom over Koyli and Javerpura.

Residents have expressed outrage over the frequent accidents caused by stray cattle on the road near Undera Lake. The death of the 32-year-old mother of two has heightened concerns about the ongoing issue of stray cattle. DeshGujarat
