Porbandar : The people of Porbandar will soon experience smoother traffic flow as two flyovers are set to be constructed over railway crossings. In its latest budget for the year 2025-26, the city civic body has allocated funds for building overbridges near Kadia Plot and Bhadrakali Railway Crossing. A total of ₹80 crore has been earmarked for constructing these flyovers. Survey work related to the project has already commenced.

H. J. Prajapati, Municipal Commissioner of Porbandar Municipal Corporation, informed the media that the process of appointing an agency to prepare the Detailed Project Report (DPR) is underway.

Once the flyovers are completed, commuters who currently have to wait for 20-30 minutes at Kadia Plot and Bhadrakali crossings will get much-needed relief. DeshGujarat
