More Swaminarayan monks make insulting remarks for Hindu gods; Videos spark outrage

Rajkot: Two more monks of the Swaminarayan sect have added their names to the long list of monks who have made objectionable and defamatory remarks about Hindu gods and goddesses.

In one of the latest controversies, Swami Nityaswaroopdas from Sardhar Swaminarayan Temple near Rajkot referred to Bhagwan Brahma, Vishnu, Mahesh, and the 33 crore deities of Hindu dharma as mere managers of Swaminarayan. After the video went viral, there has been widespread anger among Hindus.

In the viral video, Swami Nityaswaroopdas claims that Lord Swaminarayan created Brahma, Vishnu, and Mahesh, along with 33 crore deities. He further states that Swaminarayan is above all deities, comparing them to managers under him. His remarks, which describe Hindu gods as mere subordinates, have sparked controversy.

In another viral video, Kundaldham’s Gyanjivan Swami stated that Swaminarayan Bhagwan has given the authority to remove obstacles to Ganpati Dada. He said, “We call Swaminarayan Sarvopari (supreme), and he has given the authority to destroy obstacles to him (Ganpati).” DeshGujarat
