Teenage Boy Dies After Being Hit by Water Bottle Thrown from Moving Train

Rajkot: A tragic incident occurred in Rajkot where a 14-year-old boy lost his life after being struck by a water bottle thrown from a moving train. The incident took place near Shapar-Veraval on the railway tracks.
The boy, identified as Yogesh Jariya, was playing near the railway tracks in the Shardhanand Society area when he was hit by the bottle. The bottle, allegedly thrown from a passing train, struck Yogesh in the head, causing severe injuries.
Following the incident, Yogesh was rushed to a private hospital in Rajkot for treatment. However, despite efforts, he succumbed to his injuries. The Shapar police have registered a case of accidental death and are investigating the matter further.
The police have sent the body for a post-mortem at Rajkot Civil Hospital to ascertain the exact cause of death. DeshGujarat
